We were blessed with lovely, balmy and sunny weather. The garden was in full bloom, bright and colourful and a wonderful setting for a relaxed and convivial evening. The marquee on the lawn kept out any late draughts and charcoal smoke! Mike set to with enthusiasm with the steaks and sausages over the grill and we all enjoyed the results very much. David gave a brief speech as soon to be departed president, to thank everyone (especially the partners of members) for the support he has had over his presidential year and to say how much he has enjoyed the experience.
