Rotary March receive a visit from Patricia Parker OBE.
Patricia Parker OBE, Founder, CEO & Chairman of the Trustees of Kids for Kids was the visiting speaker at the club in May. She gave a very informative insight into her work of the last 23 years,supporting children in Darfur. Her charity is the only organisation specifically created to help the children of Sudan.The project provides resources to enable communities to grow and flourish and, to date, 110 villages have benefitted from the project, helping 590,000 people.
Funds are urgently needed to continue the amazing work. On behalf of Rotary March, John Orbell presented Patricia with a cheque to support her work.
