Our club has made a £250 donation to the Newport History Group. This will help them to complete the set up of their web site / archive. The Newport History group has for some time been planning the website along with an accessible/searchable community archive. This would mean that the extensive physical collection will be accessible to all.
In response, Mairi Shiels of the Group thanked North Fife Rotary and said, ' We feel quite excited, and a little bit daunted too, to be at the stage of actually getting started on our website/archive. We seem to have been planning it for so long. but making very little progress. We really hope that it will provide much interest and enjoyment for lots of people, and you have contributed to that!''What We Do' Main Pages:
