May I firstly thank each one of you and your partners, children and friends who took part in yesterday's Rotary Sponsored Walk for the Malawi Burns Unit Trust! Please pass on my thanks and well done to those connected with you that I am not emailing here! Events like these show the power of Rotarians working together for a great cause and having great fun and fellowship! These Events bring Club Members closer together! It was an excellent effort from all in conditions that were far from ideal and a more strenuous course than I remembered from having walked it with Graeme last Summer. I'm sorry if anyone felt it was too strenuous and that I did not describe it well enough! However, we all got round with one small injury ( hope your ankle is feeling OK this morning Euan ) and we should all give ourselves a "pat on the back" for that! The BBQ afterwards was a great social activity and particular thanks must go to Phil and Moira for hosting the Event and looking after us all! I would also like to thank Stevie Reaper for the BBQ and all Walkers partners for the excellent salads and deserts on offer!
