Lend with Care

Loans are given to entrepreneurs around the world usually from 3rd world countries. We choose to select farming as the activity to support. The repaid loans (typically about £30 for each of 15 groups) are recycled into further loans each quarter.

We are currently involved in a project called "Tools With A Mission" (TWAM) whereby tools old and new are brought in (to the Swan Hotel) or collected and then periodically taken to the TWAM headquarters in Ipswich for onward distribution abroad

Students with their dictionary 4 Life and a Rotarian

The Club purchases a number of dictionaries and donates them to several local primary schools. The students keep their dictionary for "life" - as the project title suggests. The scheme is funded 50% from club funds and 50% from rotary district grants.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Club is an after school club run by Rotarians with support from the High School. It is funded by Club Funds and Rotary District Grants

Picture Sale at TheSwan hotel in aid of Rotary funds

A Picture Sale is one of the many ways we raise money for local good causes and international crises through the Shelterbox Charity. Other methods include bucket collections for particular disasters e.g.earthquakes.
