Andy Miller receives Paul Harris Fellow award

At our annual Charter celebration on 23rd April 2025

Rotarian Andy Miller's contribution to Rotary was recognised at our Charter evening on 23rd April when he was presented with a Paul Harris Fellow award.

Andy's first experience of Rotary was as a guest at an international fund raising dinner. He immediately absorbed the object of Rotary and became a member of the club shortly thereafter. From joining he's worked tirelessly helping the club raise money which is then distributed to worthy causes.
He was instrumental in getting our now annual charity boxing event off the ground, working with a local retired professional olympic boxer and another club with experience of similar events to develop what is now the jewel in our fundraising crown which has already raised well over £100k.
He then became chair of our International committee, organising many fundraising dinners in support of overseas projects, and was also involved in raising substantial funds to help Ukrainians after the Russian invasion.
Congratulations Andy - a well deserved award !
