This year’s Fun Run is being held at 11.00 am on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May 2025. The event is open to everyone and involves running (or walking) as many laps as possible in one hour starting at 11.00 am around a measured 1-mile circuit centred on the Felixstowe Spa Pavilion. All runners will receive an attractive colour commemorative certificate at the end of their run. It is an opportunity for runners to seek sponsorships to raise money for their club, society or deserving cause of their choice. Entry fees are £7 for adults and £5 for 16s and under. These fees go towards supporting local deserving causes as determined by the Rotary Club of Felixstowe.
We encourage running groups, clubs and individuals to sign up early for what promises to be an enjoyable and exciting morning. Those who are willing to run in Fancy Dress have a chance to win cash prizes of £60, £45, £30 and £15 for the four most eye-catching entrants. The prizes are sponsored by Ruby's and the Mayor will be judging and awarding the prizes.
If you wish to enter a team, please email your request to funrun@felixstowerotaryclub.org. You will be sent a team registration sheet (Excel file) and we can arrange to deliver an agreed number of sponsorship cards to you. The Excel file explains all you need to know about registering and paying for the entrants.
For individual entrants, you can register and pay online here where you can also download a printable copy of a sponsorship card to be used to record sponsorship pledges OR
For individual entrants, you can also obtain registration/sponsorship cards from:
· Diamond Mills at 117 Hamilton Road, Felixstowe or
· Nick Barber Auctions, 154 Hamilton Road Felixstowe
On Fun Run day, all registered entrants need to collect their vest running numbers (between 9.30 and 11.00 am) from the registration desks on the stage of the Spa Theatre, accessed through the stage doors at the rear of the theatre. Team leaders should collect their whole teams' vest running numbers, safety pins and memento certificates from the Spa Theatre stage. It will be the responsibility of the team leaders to pass these on to all entrants in their team.
The programme for the event can be accessed here.

moreWe may be best known for our fundraising events in the local community. But it's not all work and no play and we also pride ourselves on our fun and fellowship. No wonder we have a steady stream of new members and some well deserved awards.
