Rotarians, their partners and guests, came together on the evening of 21st November at Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club to to enjoy an excellent 3 course meal and fellowship with the aim to raise funds for this years International charity.
£2000 was raised from member donations, a raffle and a 'heads and tails' game and was donated to this years selected International charity 'Reseed'.
Reseed focuses on creating opportunities, livelihoods and employment for people in Sierra Leone - allowing them to generate much needed income for themselves and their families. As a small and mostly local team they work in an agile, iterative and collaborate way to make sure they have a truly lasting impact on individuals and their wider communities. more This year’s International Night, on 24 February at the Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club, was a great evening for all and a tremendous fundraiser. The £3,500 raised will provide new limbs for over 60 people in India and neighbouring countries.
