21st November International Evening raises £2000!

The beneficiary of the evening is Reseed, and Gabriella from the charity joined us to share how the money will be used in Sierra Leone.

Rotarians, their partners and guests, came together on the evening of 21st November at Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club to to enjoy an excellent 3 course meal and fellowship with the aim to raise funds for this years International charity.

£2000 was raised from member donations, a raffle and a 'heads and tails' game and was donated to this years selected International charity 'Reseed'.

Reseed focuses on creating opportunities, livelihoods and employment for people in Sierra Leone - allowing them to generate much needed income for themselves and their families. As a small and mostly local team they work in an agile, iterative and collaborate way to make sure they have a truly lasting impact on individuals and their wider communities. For more information on Reseed please visit www.reseed.org.uk.

The Rotary Club of Felixstowe raises money throughout the year in various ways and is proud that it is able to support many great causes throughout the year - locally, nationally and internationally.
