Club Twinning

The Rotary Club of Brandon & District are delighted to have twinned with the Rotary Club de Lloret de Mar who are based near Barcelona in Spain.

Founded back in 1976, the club meets regularly at the Hotel Santa Marta (5 ), which is located in a beautiful setting, overlooking the sea and Santa Cristina beach. Their club has roughly the same number of members as ours, and most speak fluent English, which is very useful!

We have visited the club twice in recent years, and each time our hosts have made us feel very welcome.

For example, during a recent visit, we were treated to a champagne reception with tapas, followed by a round of golf at the Catalunya Golf Course, near Girona.

We look forward to strengthening our friendship with the club in the years to come, and welcoming our Spanish friends to Brandon in the near future.
