Rotary in Aylsham are collecting no-longer needed spectacles so they can be taken to Kenya for the benefit of people who do not have access to spectacles. We are doing this in conjunction with Taveta District Hospital in Kenya. So, if you have unwanted pairs lying around then we can make good use of them. We have provided convenient collection boxes at Lloyds Pharmacy, Tesco, Cecil Amey and Abbott & Murdoch opticians and they will be available for the next month.
One of our Club members, Ian Graham, will be going to Kenya - hopefully in mid-April - and will personally deliver them to the hospital at Taveta.
