Kinross were fortunate to be asked to host the District Final of the Young Chef Competition for the Rotary, and we did ourselves proud. The winners were as follows:
1st place Aeden
2nd place Alistair
3rd place went to our very own Eilidh from Kinross High School.
Well done to the winners who go on to the next level but really to everyone who participated. The food tasted incredible and presentation was amazing. You should all be very proud of yourselves.
Special thank you to Jim Houston, George Lawrie and Jo Middlemiss from rotary and Catriona Cairney from Kinross High School for all the organisation that goes into hosting such an event. Flawless as per usual.
Thanks also to the judges Carolyne Poller, Josephine Patterson and head judge Daniel from Grouse and Claret who had a tough job but were very thorough and fair with their choices. Graeme Leith our District Governor presented the prizes and we were grateful of him travelling all the way South to be with us.
