Rotary Club of Nuneaton Joins Forces with Royal British Legion for Annual Poppy Appeal

Nuneaton, UK – Members of the Rotary Club of Nuneaton are proud to volunteer alongside the Royal British Legion for this year’s Poppy Appeal, supporting veterans and commemorating those who have served. Rotary Club volunteers will be assisting with sales and awareness efforts at the Sainsbury's store in Nuneaton every day this week, working side-by-side with Legion volunteers to encourage donations and promote the importance of the Poppy Appeal.

The annual Poppy Appeal is a longstanding tradition that helps fund vital support services for veterans and their families. Through the sale of poppies, the Royal British Legion raises essential funds that go toward mental health support, rehabilitation, financial assistance, and more for former servicemen and women.

"As a community service organization, we believe it is our duty to give back and raise awareness for the needs of our veterans. This collaboration allows us to connect with the community while supporting an important cause."

The Nuneaton community is encouraged to visit the Sainsbury’s location this week to purchase a poppy and show their support. Every donation, large or small, helps the Royal British Legion continue its work with those who have sacrificed for the nation.
