The Rotary Club of Nuneaton still wanted to Honour the Fallen, in spite of the Lockdown.

No big event on Remembrance Sunday because of lockdown meant that different groups had to visit the monument on different days and at different times of the day to ensure social distancing.

REMEMBRANCE DAY 2020
This year’s Civic Remembrance Sunday was a much smaller affair
because of the current restrictions, and the Rotary Club was not
permitted to attend in the usual way. It was decided, therefore, to
lay a wreath on 11th November as our own act of remembrance.
Our President David and Colin attended at 2pm, together with
representatives from Arbury Club, and Inner Wheel.
Nuneaton Rotary Club’s wreath joined the many others beneath
the war memorial united with all those who wish to honour the fallen.
