Nepal school project

Our latest project in Nepal has started!

Today we received an e.mail and photos from Nepal: Greetings from Pokhara, Nepal. I am Rtn. Binod Koirala, PP of RC Pokhara Fishtail. I got your email id from your PP Rtn. Om Gurung, who wanted me to update you the progress on our joint project at Phire Phirea. First of all, I would like to extend heartfelt thanks on behalf of my club for your generous support to poor communities in Nepal. 2 rooms extension at the local school of Phire Phirea has became the first start of the partnership work between RC Pokhara Fishtail and RC Nuneaton. Thank you very much for this support. Last Friday, our club President lead a team of 6 Rotarians including myself to the Phire Phirea village and organized Foundation stone Laying Ceremony of the new2 rooms building officially. The whole work has been awarded to a local contractor following all the governmental rules and the physical works is in progress. It is expected that all said construction work will be completed by April 2017. Our engineer and other Rotarians are closely monitoring the quality and the work progress at the field.
