22 June 2025 marked the start of a new chapter for Nuneaton Rotary Club as Sara Mudhar was formally inducted as President for the 2025/26 Rotary year.
Sara succeeds David Lloyd, who had the honour of leading the club during its landmark centenary year. Under David’s presidency, the club celebrated 100 years of service to the community with a series of successful events and activities that highlighted the organisation’s rich history and ongoing impact.
Speaking after her induction, Sara acknowledged the achievements of the past year, saying: “It will be a hard act to follow. The centenary year was a tremendous success, and the club marked the milestone with some significant events that brought members and the community together.”
Looking ahead, Sara intends to maintain the club’s established programme of activities while also placing greater emphasis on raising awareness of the wider work of Rotary International where appropriate. Her aim is to build on the club’s strong foundations while continuing to support local causes and community initiatives.
Also inducted was Joe Kobrin, who will serve as Vice President for 2025/26. Working alongside Sara, Joe will help develop and deliver a programme over the next two years focused on increasing the visibility of Nuneaton Rotary Club within the local community and showcasing the positive impact of Rotary’s work.
As the new Rotary year begins, the club looks forward to continuing its tradition of service, fellowship and community engagement under Sara’s leadership.
