CHARTER NIGHT 2020
Thursday 19th March 2020
As the President of the Rotary Club of Wigan I would like to invite you and your fellow members to join me in celebrating 96 years of the Rotary Club of Wigan, at our Charter Night. The date is Thursday 19th March 2020. The venue is the Springfield Suite, DW Stadium, Robin Park, Wigan WN5 0UZ.
The evening will start at 7.00 for 7.30pm and the last toast should be 11.00 p.m. The preferred dress code is Dinner Jacket. The cost of tickets has been maintained once again at £32 per person.
Our Speaker for the evening will be the Rt Rev Mark Davies, the Bishop of Middleton.
The menu will be fish cakes, slow braised Moroccan lamb shank, with spring onion mash and red wine jus, Eton mess cheesecake, finished with berry and orange cream, table platter of cheese and biscuits, tea or coffee.
If you would like information regarding the dishes or ingredients used or would like to discuss any change to the menu, please speak to me when you book.
Can I ask you to advise me in writing, email will suffice, that you are attending, no later than 1st March 2020.
