The Wigan Heat of the District 1285 Youth Speaks Contest
The Wigan Heat of the District 1285 Youth Speaks Contest was held on Tuesday Feb 6th at St John Rigby College in Orrell.
Nine teams entered the heat, four in the intermediate section and five in the senior section.
Winner in the Intermediate section was Team A from Bolton School, Girls Division.
The title of their Presentation was ‘Planet Earth”
Winner in the Senior Section was Bolton School, Girls’ Division.
The title of their Presentation was ‘Financial Literature’
The Chief Judge commented upon the maturity shown by all the teams both in their choice of subjects and the way in which they delivered their presentations.”
