Smalls for all

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Tyldesley and Atherton, the Rotary Club have collected and donated 85 bra’s and 90 pairs of knickers to the amazing charity, Smalls for all.

Smalls for All® is a charity that collects new pants and new or gently worn (laundered) bras for people in Africa and the UK who can’t afford or can’t get any. Because dignity matters.

Giving pants and bras may seem like a small thing, but it can make a life-changing difference. For example, each month many teenage girls miss school and women miss work because having no pants means they’re forced to stay at home during their period.
In Africa, they help those living in orphanages, slums, IDP (internally displaced persons) camps and schools, as well as those in hospitals suffering from medical conditions.
In the UK, they help charities and organisations supporting the homeless and people living in poverty or straitened circumstances.
Every pair of brand-new pants and every new or gently worn bra you send helps us make a difference to someone’s life.
Huge thanks to KLG Nails, Wardrobe 97 and Union Arms for being our partners and hosting collection boxes. And thanks to everyone who donated.
