Speakers Corner - Gill Smallwood, MBE

Our guest speaker this week is Gill Smallwood, MBE, CEO of Fortalice. 

Gill has been Fortalice's Chief Executive for over a decade and also sits on the Board of several local partnerships including Bolton Together and Fresh as a Daisy. She is a Governor of a local School and a Trustee for a secondary school.

Over the years Gill has positioned Fortalice as the leading local provider for domestic abuse and mental health services whilst increasing income and staffing levels. During Gill’s stewardship, the Charity has opened a new refuge, initiated and grown a service for children and young people, developed counselling for victims and their families and delivered educational programmes.
