Breaking the Stigma on Mental Health
Our Honorary Member, Bernie Hollywood's inspiring #BoatofHope campaign jointly supports mental health charity Samaritans and British rowing charitable foundation LOVE Rowing, and aims to raise a total of £100,000 pounds for these laudable initiatives.
Samaritans - a charity that provides emotional support to anyone in emotional distress or struggling to cope, the funds raised by Bernie for Samaritans will help in the development and delivery of a targeted package of support for young people’s mental health and wellbeing within the UK.
LOVE Rowing - a charitable foundation established by British Rowing that aims to improve the accessibility of the sport for underrepresented communities. Bernie’s fundraising efforts will support these inclusive rowing programmes for underrepresented communities, with a particular focus on young people in education.
