Lunch time meeting held on 12th March 2015

On Thursday 12th March 2015 President Chris Grist welcomed 25 Club Rotarians in particular Ewen MacDonald and Lindsay Roy and Josephine Strath wife and guest of Rotarian Alan Strath to this lunch time meeting held at the Gilvenbank Hotel.
Five apologies for absence were received.
On reception this week was Andy Strachan who said grace, Stuart Morris, Jim Boyd and John Ferris.
IPP Tracy Thomson brought back greetings from the Rotary Club of South Queensferry where she along with Jim Boyd, Ian Hastie and Iain Haywood had attended last week. She also advised that she had attended the Big Dinner for the charity 500 Miles at the Rotary Club of Kinross
The High School Top of the Form Quiz took place at Auchmuty High School last Wednesday 11th March 2015 with 11 High Schools taking part and for the second year running Beath High School were the eventual winners.
Vocational Chair Julie MacDougal advised that the Primary School Quiz due to take place on the 25th March 2015 has at present had 9 of the 19 local schools confirming attendance.
Community Chair Anne Sampson advised that only 1 entry had been received to date for the Young Writer competition.
There was no speaker this week as this meeting was for Council Reports where the Council Chairs updated the members on their ongoing projects.
