The 2024 Festival will be our 38th such event. Planning for the first Festival began in 1984 and it has become an annual event since 1985, held most years at the Oldham Coliseum Theatre and now in the QE Hall. In recent years there have been up to 2800 pupils taking part and, over the years, more than 70,000 youngsters have been participants.
This year's will be held on 6th, 7th and 8th March 2024

moreOldham Metro's 35th Oldham Primary Schools Choral Speaking Festival should have been held at the Coliseum Theatre, Fairbottom Street, Oldham on 19th. 21st & 22nd March 2019 but due the Covid pandemic we had to cancel this year's event.
moreWe believe in supporting Community groups to achieve their aims. This varies from support for Homeless outreach, Dementia groups, Food banks and outreach to support for abused partners and childrens' groups.
moreThe Club had a sponsored walk for Rainbow Trust and Raised £1050 to help families with very sick and terminal children in Oldham
moreRotary Oldham Metro received recognition by Ginny Alexander, Mayor of Oldham for the work carried out during lockdown with vulnerable families and children
moreThe Club hosted the District 1280 Group Study Exchange Team from the Philippines on 13th October and took them down the mine! Afterwards the Group joined a Club Meeting for Dinner at The Golf Club.
