Cults Primary School - Hopes for a Better Future

Early in 2025 we invited Primary Schools to write about their hopes for the future they envisaged as adults. Cults Primary was the only school that responded and they were awarded £300 towards books for their library. We gave them a cheque for £150 for books of their choice and we oriented them with, just shy of £150 worth of books related to their vision of the future.

Overall, the letters reflect a hopeful, thoughtful generation that believes the future can be shaped through compassion, fairness, sustainability, and collective action.

Forres Rotary helping vulnerable people around the world tackle Coronavirus

Volunteers held a socially-distanced collection in the Tesco car park in Forres between 10am-4pm on Saturday (August 22) to raise cash and awareness for the Shelterbox appeal which aims to provide practical help for vulnerable individuals.

The Rotary Club of Forres disburses charitable funds each year. The form below enables clubs, charities and community groups to apply for funding.

The object of RYLA is to develop leadership qualities and team working: to give a sense of pride in achievement; to stimulate mind and body, and in doing so to emphasise the importance of sportsmanship, fitness, character and personal relationships.
