TREEKLY -TURNING FOOTSTEPS INTO FORESTS

Our club, which has an active walking group, supported CLIMATE ACTION DAY, on October 24 by purchasing 500 mangrove trees.

To mark Climate Action Day we purchased 500 mangrove trees, as part of a special edition pack for planting in Kenya.

To date our club has 22 members and friends who participate in our Treekly group and to date at the end of October we have planted over 4,300 trees. Rotary International has planted close to 221,000. (As at 31 October 25)

For details of Rotary International's relationship with Treekly see: Rotary and Treekly

It is said that it takes 7 days to form an habit so why not start walking 5,000 steps daily to plant a tree and help make a difference with carbon capture.
