CLUB AWAY DAY

Thu, May 29th 2025 at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

To discuss the future direction of the club.
VENUE: Byrchall High School, Ashton.
All members to notify secretary whether they will attend.

A workshop was held at Byrchall High School to discuss the future direction of the club. Attending members were split into three groups to discuss a series of issues facing the club moving forward.

Feedback from the sessions will now be discussed at the Executive and composite proposals put to members before club assembly.

At the end of the session, Angela Finch, deputy Head at the school briefed members on the current status of our international project with Newclare School, details which will appear on our international page. This is a good example of partnership between two local Wigan schools, a school in South Africa and a Rotary club also in SA which is now involved.

Many thanks to Angela who allowed us to use the facilities of the school.
