Today's speaker was Lorraine Pennington, St Helen's Young Carers, a Network Partner of Carers Trust.

She was introduced by Jeanette Banks, Worshipful Mayor of St Helens. This is the Mayor's chosen charity which the club supported earlier on in the year.

Lorraine informed club members about Young Carers, the services offered, Wellbeing Support and the Respite programme. She also mentioned how the service in St Helens can be accessed backed up by statistics on how many Young carers there are in the borough.
