LUNCH MEETING

Tue, Feb 11th 2025 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

VENUE: HPGC.
SPEAKER: Did not turn up
FELLOWSHIP STEWARDS: John Morse + John Murray.

Today's speaker from the Newton Gardener's Association did not turn up, so Craig Roberts, Past President and Chair of our Environmental team took the opportunity to brief members on the Intermodel Logistic Park North (ILP) which is planned for our area. Craig and members of his team attended an informal non-statutory community consultation event at Crownway Community Centre and gave details of what the planned development involved.

This will have significant impact on our community so members are encouraged at this stage to look at the plans and send their views to the consultants before 21 March. Responses will then be considered and used to inform project development together with the findings of environmental and technical studies. This will then be presented with more detailed proposals at a formal statutory consultation at the end of the year.
