Today our speaker was Kath Riley, Membership Support Officer (Liverpool and Southwest Lancs) who gave us a talk on the work this charity does. They have a presence in St Helens but would like to expand their network into Newton le Willows.

The mission of the St Vincent de Paul Society is to seek and find those in need, to help them in a spirit of justice and to tackle the causes of poverty where they can.

Over the Rotary year your generous donations have been used to support a diverse range of causes. A total of £20,764 was donated with a further £2,600 distributed to the community groups that helped us with our float collections.
