ENVIRONMENT TEAM COMPLETES FIRST PROJECT

The newly formed team led by Past President Craig has completed the painting of the shed which is the start of the project at ascent College hub.

The first part of our environmental project at the Ascent College hub on the Enovert site at Lyme and Wood off Vista Road has now been completed.

This involved painting the shed which will become the shop for students to sell produce from the raised beds and poly tunnels to the local community and also keep the animals fed.

This will be part of a much larger project involving, amongst other aspects,  work on the raised beds and poly tunnels. The team will work with staff and students on site to develop the area environmentally which will be of benefit of to all concerned  but most importantly to the students who should gain new skills and become environmentally aware. Further details to follow..
