On Saturday 20 July, the club held a race afternoon at Cancello's, Newton. Members and guests sponsored the races and individual horses.
The horses in the final race were auctioned and the owner of the winning horse was Graeme Woolley.
Racegoers were served a delicious Italian Meze at the restaurant.
Proceeds were for End Polio Now and Cancer Research.
