At this afternoon's meeting Katie Hancock and her team including students from Ascent College informed club members of what the college does and how it fits into Remarkable Autism.

The focus is on developing the social, communication and employability skills of the students and the resources to achieve this within the college.

Ascent college will shortly be launching their Kabin Kitchen, Shop and Cafe selling produce made and grown by the students and the community.  The shop is at the hub on the Enovert site at Lyme and Wood.

Members of the environmental group under the chair of Craig Roberts are involved in this project and have been invited to the launch of the cafe on Oct 10.
