Financial Decisions taken at the Business Meeting

  1. Ian Parr proposed that an amount be paid to S&S Marquees from the Beer Festival Account : carried unanimously.
  2. Derek Hirst proposed that a transfer to the Charity Account from the Beer Festival Account should be made. : carried 22 For 1 Against.
  3. Ian Parr proposed that Newton Sports Club  be given a donation for providing the facilities for the beer festival: carried unanimously. 
  4. Ian Parr proposed a donation be made for the Veterans Memorial Garden : carried unanimously.
  5. Alan Robinson proposed a donation to Starlight Morris  Dancers ( to pay for 6 outfits ) : carried unanimously.
  6. Alan Pomfret proposed a donation to Newclare Primary School, South Africa : carried unanimously.
  7. Alan Pomfret proposed a donation to Mary’s Meals : carried unanimously. 
  8. Alan Pomfret proposed a  donation to Médecins Sans Frontières : carried unanimously.
  9. Alan Pomfret proposed a club donation to Rotary Foundation and End Polio Now: carried 21 For and 2 Abstentions.
