LUNCH MEETING

At the meeting this lunchtime our speaker was David Tomlinson, Chair of Vulcan Football Club.
The club which is based at the Vulcan Sports Club, Raleigh Close is growing rapidly catering for the local community.
David presented some impressive statistics the highlights being:
* The club has 3 open-age football teams, playing at 3 venues.
*The club has 8 female only junior football teams with 111 registered players.
*The club has 17 mixed junior football teams with 208 registered mixed players.
*The club has 60+ academy players.
*The club has recently started 2 walking football teams.
The club is going from strength to strength and at the end of the meeting President Elect Ray Edwardson presented David with a donation towards the club's activities.
