LUNCH MEETING

Tue, Mar 5th 2024 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Venue: HPGC.
Speaker: NIGEL DANBY PDG- ROTARY MYTHS AND MEMBERSHIP INITIATIVES.
Fellowship Stewards: IAN BOWDEN + JOHN COLEMAN.

Our guest today was Past District Governor Nigel Danby, District Membership Lead and a member of RC Heywood 2020.

Nigel talked about the many myths that exist about Rotary within clubs, many of which are barriers to future membership .

He also updated members on the initiatives in hand to increase membership both nationally and within our district. This now includes Corporate and Enterprise membership.

It was coincidental that at today's meeting President Craig inducted our latest new member, Barbara Keenan-Morris to our club.
