BUSINESS MEETING

The following proposals were put to this month's business meeting:

1.To pledge a donation to Dr Jilal Mahood's walking challenge upon completion. Funds to go towards a fund for the construction of a Maternity Hospital in South Pakistan. Proposer Alan Pomfret, Seconder Geoff Fisher : 20 in favour, Nil against and No abstensions.

2. Before the transfer of funds from the Beer Festival Account to the Charity Account the club needs to see the accounts of the Recent Beer Festival. Proposer Geoff Fisher, Seconder Barry Curran : 17 in favour, 3 against and No abstensions.

This is a new group formed during the last Rotary year.23/24 Its remit is to look at how we move the club forward and recruit a more diverse membership
