SUPPORTING THE GOLBORNE CARNIVAL

We shall be supporting this event with the coconut shy

The event takes place on Legh Street Park on Sunday, 14 May 2023 from 11.30am, with a parade leaving Railway Road and heading to the park at midday.
On the day, there’ll be fun fair rides with Silcock’s amusements, music from Golborne Brass Band and Dr Beats Disco.
There’ll also be performances by local morris dancers and the crowning of the May Queen.
And lots of refreshments to enjoy – with food stalls, ice cream, a beer tent and a gin bar.

Our club will be present with the coconut shy.

This month we will focus on new members and how we develop the club.

Our club is governed by the policies and procedures of Rotary International, GB and I, District and club and we take our responsibilities seriously. Check out some of the policies that are applicable.

WHERE YOUR DONATIONS WENT IN 25/26

Over the Rotary year your generous donations have been used to support a diverse range of causes. A total of £20,764 was donated with a further £2,600 distributed to the community groups that helped us with our float collections.

WHAT WE DO AROUND THE WORLD: INTERNATIONAL 23/24

Providing Rotary Service to International Communities. The following programme has been agreed at club assembly.

In the Rotary year 24/25 we have distributed £21,335 and supported 34 local and UK charities and 13 International projects. Also see our 2025 Wrapped which gives a summary of all the things we achieved.
