Visits to Report -

The president reported that he had attended and laid wreaths at the remembrance day services in Earlestown and at the memorial garden in Haydock with Les Clancy. While at the memorial gardens in Haydock he was approached by a lady who asked whether he was from Rotary, and then asked him to thank the members of the club from the crochet group “Untangled” for the donation that the club gave them. In the memorial garden a tree trunk was covered in crocheted poppies of various shades of red, white and blue that had been made by the ladies in the group. They had also produced a number of post box covers that can be seen in the Haydock area.
