LUNCH MEETING

Prior to starting the meeting a minutes silence was observed by members to remember Rotarian Eric Fearnley who sadly passed away recently. 

A total of 21 people attended lunch

The meeting was an informal lunch but the following points were noted:

1. Funeral Arrangements for Rotarian Jack Bradshaw were notified to club members.

2. Welfare matters were discussed.

3. Christmas Float preparations:

A list has been circulated by the secretary for members to indicate the days that they are not available to help for this years street collections. If you are not available to help put a cross in all the boxes and reply to either the secretary or Len Rainford. Barry Curran has circulated a list for the static collections, please add your availability and return to Barry asap.

4. Christmas Raffle- Jansa Project

If any members would like to donate a bottle of wine, spirit, box/carton of chocolates etc. we can make up a number of prizes, similar to what Ray Edwardson did for the Burns Night Raffle. If members want to donate a prize for the raffle please pass on to either Ray Edwardson or myself at or before the business meeting on Tuesday 22nd November.

6. District Conference 2024 preferences to David Ellis

7. Shoeboxes: Filled boxes to be returned by Nov 30.

Members were noted of future meetings and Fellowship stewards. These appear on our meeting schedule on website.
