Our club took a group of 60 student from Golborne High and Hope Academy to this years Excitement of Science lecture at Manchester University. The lecture was attended by 470 students from schools across our district. This was a suberb lecture presented by Dr Eamonn Kerins, an astro-physicist from Jodrell Bank and Manchester University who made a very difficult subject area very accessible to all the students. The visual-aids were of the highest quality and there was a good level of student particpation which kept everyone engaged.
All the pupils were well behaved and a credit to their schools.
Many thanks to Eavesway Trael for providing the transport.
