To mark World Polio Day (24 Oct) President Phil visited Wargrave House School to join in their annual Harvest Festival celebrations. Each year the school chooses an International charity to donate to so this year they chose Rotary International Purple4Polio campaign.
Students from Lakeside College (16-18 year olds) did presentations with a purple theme and on the previous Friday had also held a Purple Friday day.
The presentations from each group was of a high standard and the students had clearly researched aspects of the material on polio from the Rotary websites.
The school is one of the 12 partner organisations who have been given crocus corms to plant and they will be planting them in the school gardens after they return from half term.
