The cheque was presented to Derian House staff members Caroline, Claire, Daryl and Kirsty who provide respite care for families with very sick children.
Derian House currently supports 265 families across the North West. Staff said that it was a fantastic place to work – ‘there is no other place like it!'
The money was raised through sponsorship of athletes taking part in the incredible and demanding Ironman UK Bolton with which Bolton Clubs helped.
‘The contribution made by Rotary, the Ironman UK athletes and their sponsors to Derian House’s valuable work of caring, is both important and appreciated’, said fundraiser Judy Miller.
Together they really make a difference.
