Wrap up Tameside is part of the wider Wrap Up UK initiative whose sole aim is to collect winter coats for distribution to charities supporting people who struggle to keep warm during the winter months. The local campaign runs during October and November with all the coats collected by the Club being donated to Tameside Women's Centre and local homeless projects.
Coats must be warm and suitable for winter. They can be dropped off at collection boxes at Ashton under Lyne Golf Club, situated on Gorsey Way, and Lower Mossley Sub Post Office on Manchester Road.

more 'Behind Bras' was started by the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, Diane Hawkins, after a visit to Styal Prison. She discovered that some female prisoners do not have the support of family to bring in basic needs such as a change in underwear.
