Due to the pandemic in 2020,Tameside Council encouraged those wishing to lay wreaths to do so privately. Members therefore laid wreaths at the war memorials located in Dukinfield, Stalybridge and Mossley and made a donation of £150 to the Royal British Legion.
The main picture shows President Judi Kelly and Rotarian Roy Pickersgill laying a wreath in Dukinfield. The top picture below shows Rotarians Idu Miah and Steve Gilligan presenting their wreath at the Mossley memorial and the bottom picture, Rotarians Danny and Chris Power in Stalybridge.

more The Club presented a cheque for £100 & a Rotary Hero Award to Ella Warhurst of Mossley. She has raised funds for the NHS by selling homemade loom bands, stress balls & colouring packs. Ella has donated the money to Tameside Hospital's scanner appeal.

more Stalybridge Celtic Blues is a football team whose members have disabilities. When the club discovered that their existing kit was 3 years old they provided the funding to enable them to purchase replacements.
Dukinfield and Stalybridge helps supply PPE to Hospices and Care Services
more Thousands of masks and visors have been delivered to care homes and hospices in the North West due to collaborative funding from 20 Rotary Clubs, including Dukinfield and Stalybridge.
Local Heroes of the Covid Crisis recognised
more The Club held its first award ceremony on 12th November 2020 to recognise those in our local communities who have gone above and beyond to support people during the pandemic.
Rise Against Hunger February 2020
more Club members take part in the annual event to pack meals for children in third world countries, which allows them to attend school.
Supporting free school meals
more A donation of £250 was given to Stalybridge Celtic Junior Football Club to help them with the provision of free school meals during the October half term.
Neighbouring Rotary Clubs join forces to help fund local and international causes
more Presentation evening on 18th October 2018 for Oakdale School, Stalybridge to assist the funding of a sensory room.

more Packing of 60000 meals under a Rotary/Rise Against Hunger initiative. Meals to be sent to Africa to help malnourished or starving people

more An opportunity for local organisations and individuals to apply for funding. 8 groups applied this year and a total of £2500 was distributed on the evening.
Santa Stories Christmas 2020
more Due to the pandemic Club members were unable to arrange tours of Dukinfield, Stalybridge and Mossley with Santa and supermarket collections. So Club members arranged for Mr & Mrs Santa to film Christmas stories for Youtube and set up a Justgiving page.
