Supporting free school meals

A donation of £250 was given to Stalybridge Celtic Junior Football Club to help them with the provision of free school meals during the October half term.

Dukinfield and Stalybridge Rotary Club is always fully supportive of local community causes and when members heard about the free school meals project organised by Stalybridge Celtic Junior Football Club, there was no hesitation in agreeing a donation of £250.

Members were impressed by the efficient operation at the Club to meet the needs of children in the borough by distributing meals during the October half term.  Amazing work from brilliant volunteers who have given up the school holidays to provide for children who would otherwise have gone hungry.
