Making a difference in our communities - facilitating sign language classes
Providing funding to Angela Taylor help put on sign language classes from Carrbrook Community Hub.
Angela Taylor is profoundly deaf. She applied to our Dragons Den event for £80 to fund sign language classes from Carrbrook Community Hub. The money will provide resources and refreshments for service users and make the service sustainable. Classes are held every Thursday 4:00pm - 5:30pm at the Hub, 1 Broadbent Close, Carrbrook. It is free but a small donation is welcome.

more An opportunity for local organisations and individuals to apply for funding. 8 groups applied this year and a total of £2500 was distributed on the evening.
Santa Stories Christmas 2020
more Due to the pandemic Club members were unable to arrange tours of Dukinfield, Stalybridge and Mossley with Santa and supermarket collections. So Club members arranged for Mr & Mrs Santa to film Christmas stories for Youtube and set up a Justgiving page.
