To mark our Centenary we were given gifts by our Mother Club, Edinburgh and Daughter Club, west Fife

Centenary Gifts to Rotary Dunfermline

The Rotary Club of Dunfermline have been presented with gifts to commemorate their Centenary Year. Olive Geddes (President of Rotary Edinburgh) presented an engraved quaich from the Edinburgh club (who were the "mother club" of Dunfermline in 1922). Douglas Scott (President of Rotary West Fife) intimated his club's gift of a bench to be installed in Pittencrieff Park shortly adjacent to the Dunfermline Club's recently planted Centenary Walk of flowering cherry trees.

These gifts were gratefully received by Dunfermline President, Brian Blanchflower and by Vice-President Ralph McCran.
