Marching through Dunfermline and performing in the Glen
Follow the Band - Royal Marines Music in
Sunday 1st September at 1.45 pm. Put the date in your diary and be at the Glen Gates to see the Band of HM Royal Marines combine precision movement and great music as it marches through the Glen to Pittencrieff House and the Glen Pavilion area where it will perform its world-renowned Beating Retreat.
The Band’s Director of Music, Captain Steve Green, told the Press “Our musicians and buglers are really looking forward to performing here in and in the fabulous surroundings of The Glen. The Band has been based here for many years; myself and a large number of band members and their families are proud to call and the adjacent area home.”
In addition to the marching display, this autumn will see the RM Band presenting another season of ever popular concerts at ’s Carnegie Hall with Christmas concerts in Dunfermline Abbey. Tickets for these events are available from Carnegie Hall.
