The Brooke Hospital, and challenge ride to Iceland

Adrian Jones gave an illustrated talk on his visit in August 2010.


Dr. Adrian Jones was the Speaker at the Club meeting at Penleys. Members and a guest, Mike Simpson, saw a short DVD of the work of the Brooke Animal Charity, the leading U.K.'s equine charity whose work in 11 countries focuses on the suffering of the countless horses, donkeys and mules, working in the poorest parts of the world. The livelihood of the animals' owners depends upon these beasts of burden. If the animal dies they would struggle to earn a living and feed their family.
