ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DAY FOR CHARITIES IN WAKEFIELD

Once again the ladies boutique “No 10 of Horbury”, have held a Charity Fashion Show which has raised significant money for Charities in the Wakefield Area. 

Organised by the ladies of the Rotary club of Wakefield Chantry, the boutique on Highfield Road in Horbury, put on a highly successful fashion show attended by almost 60 ladies to look at the Spring/Summer ranges of clothes available from the shop.

Gemma Roberts, co-owner of the shop with mum Lynn Roberts, said “everyone had a great afternoon which raised nearly £1200 for Wakefield Charities. Our models, who are also customers, showed off our spring/summer ranges to great effect.”

Rita Guard, who organised the event for the Rotary Club, said “Raising nearly £1200 for the Charities benefitting was a stunning result. The funds were split between Kingsland School and the Rotary Club’s Trust fund which supports many local charities and good causes. Kingsland School in particular, look after 75 primary children who have severe mental and physical disabilities do a fantastic job and deserve all the support we can give them”
