Welcome from our President 2025-26

Our President for the coming year, Mark Stewart-Clarke MPHF, took over on 1st July 2025.

Mark Stewart-Clarke takes over from Judy Hazlehurst as President of Skipton Rotary for 2025-26. Mark has a wealth of experience as a Rotarian of long standing and has been District Governor and is a Past President of Skipton Craven Rotary Club.

Mark is looking forward to a fun filled year and has a number of new ideas for the coming year.  He is a firm believer that "Rotary is open to all".  Why not come along and join us?

We are always looking for new members, but as this can be challenging for some, Friends of Rotary and Corporate Membership are available for those looking to support in an adaptable capacity such as volunteering for our charity car park or helping out at our many charity events, which raise much needed funds for great local causes and international projects such as disaster relief work.

For more information on our upcoming events or becoming a Friend of Skipton Rotary please contact Mark through the link below.  As well as full details of the Club on this site you can visit our Facebook page @skiptonrotary.

What makes a good Rotary club?

The District strategic survey conducted a couple of years ago, showed clearly that “good” clubs should be able to tick all of these boxes:

 • Visibility and active in community

 • Fellowship

 • Well run club

 • Listen to members

 • Do different things, keep refreshing

 • Everyone mucking in together You can discuss these subjectively in your clubs to see where your strengths and weakness lie, or you could conduct an objective club health check survey.
